Hends - Spectra dubbing

Hends Spectra Dubbing is a high-quality synthetic dubbing material with a striking iridescent shimmer. The fine, light-reflecting fibres create changing colour effects underwater, helping your fly stand out and attract the attention of feeding fish.

This versatile dubbing is ideal for adding eye-catching hotspots, thoraxes, bodies and other trigger points to nymphs, wet flies, streamers and stillwater patterns. It can be used on its own for a strong sparkling effect or blended with natural and synthetic dubbings for a more subtle finish.

Thanks to its attractive sheen, Spectra Dubbing is also an excellent synthetic alternative to traditional materials such as peacock herl. It is easy to apply, offers consistent results and allows the fly tier to create both delicate highlights and highly visible patterns. Certain shades, including the popular SA 45 and SA 46, have become firm favourites among fly tiers.
