Even a perfectly presented fly can appear unnatural when the leader remains visible on the surface and reflects the light. Mucilin Quick Sink removes surface grease from leaders and tippets, reduces unwanted shine and helps the treated section settle into or just below the surface film.
This makes the connection to your fly less noticeable and allows dry flies, emergers, wet flies and nymphs to drift more naturally. It is particularly useful when fishing clear water or targeting cautious fish.
Apply a small amount to the required section of leader or tippet and rub it evenly between your thumb and forefinger. If the paste has dried slightly, add a small drop of water to restore its workable consistency.
